This is a documentry on MS 13, the most deadliest and violent street gang in America which has spread from America into 5 countries in all,it has over 100,000 members.The MS-13 gang, aka Mara Salvatrucha 13 is a street gang involved in several criminal activites in the United States and other countries. They are composed of mostly Hispanic members but are also said to include white members in the US. The MS-13 gang has cliques, or factions, located throughout the United States and is unique in that it largely retains ties to its El Salvador counterparts. With cliques in Washington, D.C., Oregon, Alaska, Arkansas, Texas, Nevada, Utah, Oklahoma, Illinois, Michigan, New York, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, Florida, Canada, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, and several other South American countries, the MS-13 gang is truly “international”. Gang members, who sport numerous tattoos on their bodies and faces, wear blue and white colors taken from the El Salvador flag. Their membership is estimated to total over 36,000 in the Honduras alone. Members typically range in age from 11 to 40 years old. Their progressive increase in violent activities and careless disregard for the law (threats and attacks against law enforcement officials is common in El Salvador), has made them one of the most feared street gangs in the United States. MS-13 criminal activities include drug, firearm and people smuggling, hired assassinations, theft, drug sales an other crimes such as arson. Their activities and status is rumoured to have caught the eye of the FBI who recently initiated wide-scale raids against known and suspected gang members netting hundreds of arrests across the country.

Filed under: Movies on Monday, October 23rd, 2006 by admin No Comments Eric (Alex Fong Lik-Sun) and Cheun (Sammy) are two medical studentswho opt to rent a flat in a secluded housing estate, the reason beingto concentrate on their upcoming exams. Their best intentions go southdamn quick; first of all, Cheun wastes time and acts extremely annoying,thereby ruining any chance at serious study time. Second, there may bevampires in the building. Eric becomes slightly enamored of Jade (Miki Lee),a pretty young thing who lives in the building with her older sisters(Zuki Lee and Cynthia Ho). But after a series of weird noises and theappearance of a man bleeding from the neck, Eric thinks something may be up.He enlists the help of TV occult expert Mister M (Yuen Wah), who all butconfirms Eric’s suspicions: the sisters are vampires. Worse, they must suckthe life out of one good man to cure their aversion to daylight, and haveear-marked Eric as the designated “good man”. But Jade is one of thoseinsanely nice vampires, and doesn’t want Eric to die. But Eric won’tbe rid of that easily, and decides to save Jade from her upcoming underworldmarriage. Employee of the Month (2006)

For workers at the cavernous store, the most coveted honor is the “Employee of the Month” award, and having one’s photo immortalized on the wall of fame in the staff lounge. Enter Zack Bradley and Vince Downey, two ultra competitive Super Club workers whose ten years of employment have resulted in drastically different career paths. While Vince–with the aid of his trusty sidekick Jorge–has advanced to become head cashier and winner of 17 consecutive “E of M” awards, Zack is the ultimate slacker whose scruffy appearance and laid back attitude has made him popular with his colleagues, but kept him stuck in the lowly ranks of the store’s box boys. The duo’s longtime rivalry comes to a bitter head when Amy–a beautiful new cashier with a reputation of only dating “Employee of the Month” winners–transfers to the store, immediately becoming the object of both Zack and Vince’s affection and often comical gamesmanship. While Vince instantly impresses Amy with his crowd pleasing, flamboyant style behind his checkstand register, Zack’s feeble attempts to charm his beautiful new co-worker quickly backfire against him. With the race to win Amy’s affections slipping away, Zack determines his only chance rests in winning the store’s next “Employee of the Month” award.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2006)

I saw a special screening of the movie yesterday and I thought it was going to be so boring, but I was entirely wrong! It was very funny and well written. It was a refreshing take on screenplays and acting and its great to see Robert Downey Jr. back again. Val Kilmer’s role as Gay Perry was also spectacular. Michelle Monaghan looks like she can be Liv Tyler’s little sister but with more substance (sorry Liv Tyler fans) I loved the sarcasm and humorous one-liners used throughout the movie. The constant reference to real life actors and movies gave it an almost “real life” feel. I recommend this movie for a good laugh and great narration
